FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How may one make a contribution to the prison ministry?

Checks may be made payable to Glenpool Prison Ministry, P.O. Box 145, Glenpool, Oklahoma 74033

What do you teach at the prisons?

We teach Bible lessons and New Life Behavior.

New Life Behavior has taken the Bible and made lessons to show how to use what we learn from the Bible to make our lives better. One of the most popular classes is Christian's Against Substance Abuse, which is a twelve step Bible based program. Since ninety percent or more of the inmates in Oklahoma are incarcerated because of a drug or alcohol problem this is a very important class. As of June of this year the state has cut all funds for all Substance Abuse Programs offered by the state. This leaves the door wide open for us to step in with our Bible Based Program and give the inmates the only hope we all have, which is Jesus and His word.

How many classes do you teach each week?

Bill teaches three classes weekly at David. L. Moss Chriminal Justice Center (Tulsa County Jal) and three classes at Dick Conner Correctional Center, Hominy. One of the Conner classes is a 2 1/2 hour course in the Faith and Character program.

What is the total number of students in all of your classes?
