NOTES FROM THE INMATES

Bill, I am really enjoying the Sense of Self course and I'm actually learning a lot. Both of the courses I have taken is making me compare my past choices and my future options. It's comforting to know that not all of my past actions were wrong. These lessons make me realize that I've actually made some good choices in raising of my children. However, the lessons have shown me other ways to handle my anger and how it's not healthy to hold on to it. Thanks so much and have a Happy Thanksgiving.

I appreciate all of the New Life Behavior courses, but I want to really focus on my recovery. I would really like to take the CASA (Christians Against Substance Abuse) course. After completing this study, could you please send the lessons on Christian Marriage, please?

Hello Friend, I just wanted to let you know that I got out of prison this last Thursday. I'm doing good. I spent all day Sunday with all three of my kids. It was GREAT! I am getting enrolled in a small engine repair class. Pleaase keep in touch. Love you.

Sir, I am an inmate serving a 10 year sentence in Department of Corrections for two DUI's. I have had alcohol dependency for many years. I recently heard from another inmate that you are making available a 12 step program for substance abuse. I am coming up for parole next year and I want to complete as many courses as possible. I would appreciate so much if I could enroll in your program. You are making a difference through out the prison system in Oklahoma.

Respectully. - Garrett B.

Dear Bill,
It was so good to receive my next lessons and your letter. Thank you so much for your words of encouragement. You have no idea how much it helps me. Hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season. I look forward to hearing from you again. God bless you.

Bill,
I recently lost my grandmother and it has been a struggle to deal with her passing. I spent most of my growing up years living with her. Please keep me in your prayers. I love the lessons to help keep me busy and to have the opportunity to make my life better. May the Lord richly bless your work. You are making a difference in the lives of many inmates.
